  6. Sofa – Remove all cushions, stack in middle of room and turn sofa upside down. Remove mattress in hide-a-bed type of sofas.
  7. Remove all electrical plate in bedrooms, so dust application may be performed
  8. All person and animals must remain out for 5 to 6 hours after the treatment. If there is a pregnancy, a child under the age of 2 or respiratory problem or allergic sensitivities, we recommend 24 hours.

After Treatment

Bed bugs can still be active. They can be hidden inside the walls and can return to feed within 4 to 18 days after the treatment. It is therefore essential that people sleep in the infested room to attract the bedbugs, so they can be contaminated by residual insecticide.

What not to do

Do not vacuum or clean in between treatments. This will affect the residue.

Note
It is realized that in some cases bedbugs can inhabit personal effects, such as electronics, books, DVD’S/CD’S, toys, etc. These types of items should be checked and/or washed and placed in sealed containers or bags. Crib frames and mattress need to be hand washed. Please note that Regionex Extermination cannot be responsible for handling or treating such items within the home environment.
